I spent seven years at one of the worlds most successful software companies. Starting as a freelance Web Designer, progressing to a Technical Account Manager, and then being promoted to the Global Lead Consultant.

Main duties included compiling the weekly images, SKUs and prices for the two consumer emails that deployed to over 300,000 business customers. Secondary tasks included creating engaging imagery based on the deals of the week. Often this meant designing new layouts that complimented the brand and the email/web templates
Web and Banner design. BAU. Produced banners and pages to support the Sales and CRM team, as well as creating new special pages for the eCom site.
As part of a small UI team, my role was to support the internal departments with their BAU requests, create sponsored pages on the eCom and mCom sites and rapidly fix any errors that had been identified.
My contract at Homebase was incredibly faced based, but also one of the highlights of my career. I worked with a group of incredibly creative people which in turn liberated my designs.
Hired as the only in house UI UX Expert to plan and design a multi million pound renovation of their under utilised commerce website.

Below is an example of my ability to formalise complex requirements. It relates to a company who were attempting to build a new website without any formal documentation, therefore there was plenty of miscommunication between departments before I arrived. Once assigned, I identified the basic need for a formal brand documentation and set about creating this UI document from scratch (referred to internally as a style guide). This was subsequently implemented immediately and meant that the external development team had clarity on how to proceed with the website build.
